University Placement Opportunities
We are now welcoming applications from university students wishing to take up a third year placement at St Joseph’s for 2026-27. We currently have placement students working as Teaching Assistants in our school and college and Residential Education Workers in our registered children’s houses.
Further details are available on Surrey Pathfinder. Please consider each role carefully and apply for either Education (39 weeks term time, daytime) or Care (52 weeks on shift rota working alternate weekends).

Placement 2026-27 – Teaching Assistant. Fixed term of 1 year. Commencing 1.9.26 (to 31.8.27 – last working day in education 22.07.27). 39 weeks term time
Placement 2026-27 – Residential Education Worker in a Children’s Home. Fixed term 1 year commencing from mid June 2026 to September 1st, 2027. 52 weeks (4 week rota including alternate weekends)
