Richard Boyle
Previously chair of the NASS (National Association of Independent and Non-Maintained Special Schools) and formerly Vice Chair of Engage (Engage in Their Future). Richard Boyle has worked in mainstream and non-maintained residential special education since 1983 and was in senior leadership roles for over thirty years.
Richard is married with two grown up sons and is a parishioner of St Paul's in Hayward's Heath.
Léonie Collingwood Johnson
Graduating with a BSc in Computing, Léonie spent the early part of her career working with IT systems in schools, before then undertaking a PGCE. She spent many years working part-time with children and young adults with a range of learning difficulties and now enjoys being a primary school teacher, having spent the last decade teaching Infant-aged children.
Léonie has two young children, Oscar and Amber, and enjoys swimming, running and visiting our family cottage in North Wales.
Monica Whitehead
Throughout Monica's career, she has gained experience in the banking and finance industry, where she took a break to co-manage a family owned hospitality business. In Monica's most recent role, she served as chair of the staff representative group, providing consultation to senior executives and directors for a ten year period.
Monica is the proud mother of three wonderful daughters and grandmother to her delightful autistic grandson.
Monica resides in Surrey, where she is an active member of St. Edmunds parish.
Melissa Longmire
Mel has worked as a teacher in Surrey Primary schools for over 15 years. She then moved to become a project manager for a children’s charity supporting disabled children access play and respite. After combining these two passions she is now an Advisory Teacher for pupils with Complex Medical needs and Physical Disabilities in London.
She enjoys walks with her dog in the surrey hills and spending time with family.
