Residential Learning

St Joseph’s Specialist Trust is registered with Ofsted as a Children’s Home. There are three beautiful homes that encourage and support young people to maximise their full potential enabling them to live to the full

Young people benefit from a waking day curriculum where they develop and achieve in many aspects of their lives and learn key skills towards independent living.

With a skilled staff team supporting young people to spend time pursuing their various hobbies and interests there is encouragement to support young people in all areas of independence and the development of skills to enable interaction out in the community.

There are excellent links to education and therapies to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach in all areas of their home.

Staffing of the houses are key to success; each house has a Manager and Deputy Manager leading a team of dedicated care staff. All staff receive key training to enable them to support the young people achieve their potential.
