Fundraising
No limits... Just possibilities
Why does St Joseph’s Specialist Trust need to fundraise?
With most of our income derived from Local Authorities who place students and vulnerable adults with us, it is difficult to provide all the equipment and facilities at the right time without fundraising to give the very best learning and care experience to our students. These additional funds contribute an integral and important element to our overall success and the development of the Trust, giving us more control and flexibility in meeting the ever changing needs of our students and young adults.
What sorts of things do St Joseph’s raise funds for?
Who raises the money?
The Trust employs a Fundraiser to encourage support and manage donations from a variety of sources. This includes building relationships with individuals to use social media and websites, such as Just Giving, to maximise donations. Where appropriate, events are organised with the Fundraiser acting as the focal point for wider support from companies, local community clubs and organisations, as well responsibility for making bids and applications to Trusts and Foundations. Examples of current and former supporters can be found on our Supporter List.
